Gelatine Lane is an urban landscape using the linear ink as an aerial view of winding roads of urban planning overlaid on a natural landscape. The technique showcases the beautiful tension between the fluid, unpredictable nature of the oil washes and the controlled precision of the ink linework, creating a piece that feels both organic and constructed, spontaneous yet considered.
